Memocept testing standards: what runs before a batch ships

Quality is a process; the lot record is its result. This page describes the process: what the facility controls during production and what an independent laboratory measures afterward, for every Memocept batch in the 2026 cycle.

In the facility: cGMP controls

Memocept is produced in an FDA-registered US facility operating under current Good Manufacturing Practice. In practice that means incoming botanical raw material is identity-checked before it enters the blend, equipment runs on documented cleaning validations, and every production step lands in a batch record that can be audited line by line. The facility also holds retention samples from each run, which is what makes a meaningful recall possible in an industry where many brands cannot trace a bottle at all.

At the laboratory: four screens per batch

  • Identity assay. UHPLC identity assay confirms the actives at 98.9% match for the current batch. UHPLC separates plant compounds finely enough to catch substituted or spent raw material.
  • Heavy metals. ICP-MS screening for lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury; the 2026 batch reads < 0.7 ppm combined.
  • Microbiology. Total plate count, yeast and mold, and specified pathogens; the batch sits within usp <2021> and <2022> limits.
  • Caffeine check. Because the formula carries green coffee bean, the lab confirms caffeine content stays within the label's serving specification.

The independent laboratory, Halloway Assay Partners, LLC, holds ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and reports against certificate HAP-2611-208 for the current run. The desk publishes the summary and keeps the full report on file.

Sourcing notes

Bacopa and Rhodiola are agricultural products, and potency moves with harvest and extraction. The manufacturer buys standardized extracts rather than raw powder, which is the single biggest lever for batch-to-batch consistency in herbal formulas. Green coffee bean extract is decaffeinated-industry sourced, water-extracted; L-Tyrosine is a fermentation-derived amino acid, not animal-sourced.

What testing does not claim

A clean assay proves the bottle contains what the label names, in the amounts printed on it, free of screened contaminants. It does not prove the formula will work for you; that is what the buyer file and the 60-day window are for. Anyone comparing brands should read our plain-language buyer's guide before paying, whether they choose Memocept from the Memocept official website or something else entirely.
